The Road to Patagonia will be starting on October 30th, 2013 as I fly to Quito with an open ended ticket and start the first leg of my trip. After arrival, I will be meeting two of my closest friends, Colleen and Pat, and will be heading towards an organic farm in Malchingui, Ecuador at the Rhiannon Community. We will be working on the farm for a month. Afterwords I plan on traveling to Ecuador's beaches and hopefully making it to the Galapagos by mid December, and then south from there. I look forward to volunteering, sightseeing, contributing to the South American community, and drinking beers on the beach. As for now, I'm soaking in the fall colors of Colorado, planning and getting the gear I need for South America, and trying to see my family and friends as much as possible...
